Eliza jumped from the third stair, landing on the ground. She ran to the kitchen, doing a couple of leaps on the way. "Hi mom," She said and did a pirouette. Eliza was constantly dancing. She had to in order to keep her little career up. It was very advanced for a thirteen year old to perform with adults. Eliza would usually get parts as a child character, but occasionally she had to play as an adult.

Jovan is a seven year old girl living on the streets. Her house burned down and she was sent to an abusive orphanage where she managed to escape. She spent time on the streets and found herself at another orphanage where she had to sew all day, every day to make pillows for the other kids. She ran away. Now it is December, and Jovan lives at a tiny bus stop with a t-shirt and shorts. Will someone find her and take her in?
Ic: Jovan sat on the little bench at the bus stop. Lots of white snow fell. At least she was dry, although she was freezing, starving and dehydrated. She curled herself into a ball and let one tear fall down her face. The little girl's face was white and her teeth chattered. People passed, sending sympathetic looks her ways, but nobody wanted to help her. Soon it was nightfall, and she faced another night, alone.
